Meet Raagu, Nilah’s younger brother who’s always up to some mischief and fun.
Raaghu stands in the middle of the yard, a tiny bat in hand and mischief in his eyes. He taps the ground twice, just like the players he sees on TV, before yelling, “Ready!” Nilah bowls a gentle ball, and Raagu swings with all his might. The ball doesn’t go far, but he cheers anyway, running imaginary laps around the garden. When Appa laughs, Raagu claims it was a “six,” even though Paati insists it barely rolled past her feet.
Handcrafted with love by women of The Nilgiris, Raagu is made from soft, upcycled fabrics and safe, child-friendly materials.
