Meet Nilah’s Paati, who has a story to share with everyone in town.
Paati sits with a bowl of raw mangoes by her side. She slices each piece carefully, the sharp tang filling the air and making Nilah wrinkle her nose. “That’s how you know it’s good,” Paati says with a smile, wiping her knife on the edge of her saree.
She drops the mango pieces into the pot, already imagining the sambar simmering slowly on the stove, sour, spicy, and just right. As she works, she hums an old tune, the kind that has followed her through many kitchens and many seasons.
Handcrafted with love by women of The Nilgiris, Paati is made from soft, upcycled fabrics and safe, child-friendly materials.

Conditions For Returning Products:
- The products must be returned in the original condition they were received in, along with any bills, tags, labels, etc.
- Products must be in their original form and unsoiled.
- Brand packaging should be intact.
- Replacement of a product will be subject to the availability of the product on the website at that time.
Return, Exchange & Refund Guidelines:
- If the goods are delivered to you in a damaged condition, please email us at care@thegoodgift.shop with a photograph of the damaged product, the invoice details, and the barcode on the package.
- Your email must contain the name of the product and the order ID along with a detailed description of the nature of the concern, and pictures/videos of the product in case of damages or manufacturing defects.
- The email must be sent within 3 days of receipt of the product. Disputes registered after 3 days of delivery shall be entertained at the sole discretion of The Good Gift.
- We will be unable to facilitate returns or exchanges for products made as per custom requirements.
- We will be unable to facilitate refunds, returns, or exchanges for products on discount/sale or when discount codes are used in the order.
- If The Good Gift agrees to a refund, then you must send the product back to The Good Gift within 7 days of The Good Gift agreeing to the refund.
- Please ship your return/exchange order to the shipping address communicated to you via email.
- Refunds are processed within one week of receiving the returned goods.
- We can only process refunds for exchanges or returns once we have received the product. Typically this timeline is 5-7 days from the date of return shipping.
- Returned goods should retain their original tags. Goods that are damaged/without tags will be returned to the customer. We hope it doesn't come to this, but should the goods returned to us by you fail to meet our returns standards, the cost of returning them to you will have to be borne by you.
