One misty morning in the Shola forest, Nilah walked beside Thatha. The trees stood tall and quiet when suddenly, she heard a low rumbling in the distance.
Nilah and Thatha exchanged a look and put on their “curious caps” — the invisible ones they wear whenever adventure calls. Moving gently, they followed the sound and hid behind a cluster of bushes. Peeking through the leaves, they saw two young bears rolling and wrestling over a honeycomb.
At first, it looked like a serious tug-of-war. But after a few playful growls and tumbles, the bears paused. One bear loosened its grip. And slowly, they both began to share the honey.
Nilah watched in awe. “They must be siblings,” she whispered. “That’s how I share with my siblings too.”
Thatha smiled softly. “Sometimes,” he said, “sharing is not about having less. It’s about choosing love over winning.”
Nilah held that thought close as they quietly made their way home
