In the front yard, Mira crouches low, eyes fixed on the wooden top in her hand. She winds the string just like Thatha showed her. With a quick flick, the top spins across the ground, wobbling before finding its balance. Mira claps and giggles, her ponytails bouncing as the top spins in circles of colour.
Handcrafted with love by women of The Nilgiris, Mira is made from soft, upcycled fabrics and safe, child-friendly materials.
