The Amethyst

What started off as an attempt by Kiran Rao to restore a century old haveli in Chennai in 2000 has bloomed into a ‘go to’ destination today in the southern metro. Kiran Rao has created a idilic retreat in the heart of the city in Royapettah with the main attraction being the ‘Wild Garden Cafe’ followed by ‘Upstairs’, a boutique that hosts a selection of Indian design across clothing, fine and costume jewellery, as well as accents for home.

The Amethyst Room is their second store front in Chennai and is housed in Chamiers. They also have a store front in the heart of Pondicherry’s heritage district and it’s called Chintz Boutique.

We are super happy to have shelf space for our thegooddolls in two of their store fronts serving two distinct customer segments - one in Chennai and one in Pondicherry.
